Jared has been in the CPA business for over 20 years, originally starting his career at a large regional accounting firm in Pensacola, Florida. In 2008, Jared decided to start his own tax practice with a strong focus on personal relationships. This was the very beginnings of what is now Jones&Co.

As Owner and Managing Member of Jones&Co., Jared oversees the daily management and operations of the firm while also focusing on sustaining an internal “firm family” culture that puts clients and employees first.

Exceptional client service is fundamental to Jared’s personal and business philosophy. A servant at heart, Jared is not just motivated to help others, he is compelled to find ways to add value to their lives wherever and however he can. As a business owner, Jared knows intimately the challenges his clients face. He dedicates his work to anticipating his clients’ needs, to finding solutions and answers to their biggest hurdles, and ensuring his clients make informed decisions based on real data, not assumptions.

In addition to working with clients, Jared has also consulted with thousands of CPA firms, financial institutions, and corporate tax departments across the United States about process improvements, compliance software, and workflow solutions. He is a nationally recognized thought leader in tax compliance software and tax workflow solutions.

In his free time, Jared enjoys spending time with his nephews, Jacen and Jesse, caring for his aging French Bulldog, Max, cooking up a storm in his gourmet kitchen, and traveling. His favorite destinations include Hawaii, Paris, Maine, and his annual trip to Indianapolis for the Drum Corp International finals.
